DJI’s drone app for Facebook Live streaming goes live

Now give viewers a birds eye view of your Facebook Live stream.

The new drone controlled app from DJI which supports Facebook Live video streaming is now available reports SlashGear.

The app allows pilots to beam a drone’s eye view in real time across Facebook using a smartphone and without waiting for the drone to land.

At the moment, the feature is available in the DJI GO app for iOS, with owners of a Phantom or Inspire model now able to broadcast.

The feature will also soon be available for Android devices.

DJI have also commented that for users who prefer not to use Facebook Live as their live-streaming platform, Periscope integration will also be available, with an added annotation feature allowing users to add arrows, sketches, and labels to their flight.
